The Kem is the term used for the individual who chooses to live in accordance
with the knowledge of the universe. The individual who after gaining an
awareness of her/his position in harmony with the greater universe and its
spiritual dimensions has taken on the challenge and vow to fit in that position
and elevate towards the divine world, humbly and honestly.
The Kem people are dedicated to the true evolution of human kind. As a Kem
person you will be responsible for the one human that you can have the most
effect upon, yourself. The only way to truly affect change in this world is to
start with yourself and thus lead by example.
A Kem person has taken the decision to rise above the natural tendencies of
human behavior. It is a difficult struggle and a thankless task in the midst of
the Diaspora of Kemetic civilization. You will be tested by your elders and
strengthened by the adversity of your own personal experiences. It is you who
will succeed or fail as an individual, but every success contributes to
creating a world that represents the best that humanity can achieve.
On this path there are those who will assist you. These are your fellow Kem. The
Men, Women, Children, Elders and Priests who have dedicated their lives to
going towards the divine world just as you have. As you make your commitment to
the principles and philosophies of Kemetic Spiritual Life, so also do they.
If you are prepared to take the solemn vow of becoming a Kem, read the ten
requirements below, study them and make them a part of your life. Seek the
assistance of the Kem at The Earth Center facilities in the USA,
Merita (Africa) and around the world as we grow to become a world-wide
organization and movement for the Preservation of Life.
